A CFO Told Her CX Was Just Nice People on Phones

Domonique Brown, Head of CX, Liquid I.V. × Alex Klein, VP Consumer Engagement, 85Sixty

Domonique built CX at Liquid I.V. from zero through 50x growth and the Unilever acquisition. A CFO once told her the team just needed "nice people who smile on phones." Her thing is translating big strategy into plans teams can actually execute. There are sixteen chairs.

If You Can Google a Best Practice, You've Already Lost

Max Lishansky, CMO, Cuyana × Lou Mintzer, CEO, Grid & Pixel

Max started in hedge funds, then built marketing businesses from scratch before becoming CMO at Outerknown for five years and now Cuyana. He believes the companies that win aren't Googling for best practices. Lou built Homesnap from zero to a $250M exit over 12 years. He believes if personalization depends on people remembering to do the right thing, it won't scale. There are sixteen people in the room.
